Choosing a Region

Pick the region closest to your application servers or end users for the lowest latency. All regions support the same instance sizes and features.
If you’re unsure which region to start with, Singapore (ap-southeast-1) offers central coverage across Southeast Asia. Tokyo (ap-northeast-1) is optimal for Japan and East Asia.

Compliance & Data Residency

Nearbase hosts your data entirely within the region you select. No data is replicated or transferred to other regions unless you explicitly provision instances there. This makes it straightforward to satisfy local data residency requirements.
